You can do it! And if it makes you feel any better, I'm right there with you. (I've given up yarn for Lent again this year - I was amazed when I did this last year how much more yarn-frugal I was well after it had ended.)

Yes, discipline can sometimes be so painful! It's easy to slack off on blogging, knitting on that boring st st sweater, etc. I've decided to work several rounds (or repeats) of the projects I've got going, every day. Interesting. It's a fine balance getting the right amount of structure and focus to get things done -- without constraining the creativity or sucking all the fun out of it!! I struggle with that myself generally falling too far one side or the other.
